Connect your teacher profile to Stripe
What is Stripe?
Stripe is an online payment processing and credit card processing platform for businesses.
When a customer buys a product online, the funds need to be delivered to the seller. Stripe allows safe and efficient processing of funds via credit card or bank and transfers those funds to the sellers account.
Stripes software includes both a payment processing platform, as well as a credit card payment gateway, and both are required in each successful online transaction– making it the most efficient and simple software to choose for online payments.

How do I connect my profile to Stripe?
During the onboarding you will be prompted to connect your profile to Stripe. If you already have a Stripe Standard account, you can simply connect that existing account to your profile. If you are new to Stripe you will have to create a new Standard Account.
The following page has a few videos to help guide you through the registration process:

Once you have an active Stripe account and successfully connected it to Artis Futura, you will be able to receive the payments from your students directly into your bank accounts. Payment options include: Credit cards, Debit cards, Apple pay, Google pay, etc.
Why did we opt for Standard accounts on Artis Futura?
We had two options to structure the payment on Artis Futura. We could choose to let all payments come to us and then transfer the funds to you, or we could allow each teacher to register as an independent trader. This second option has several advantages for you as a teacher.
Payments will arrive on your Stripe account immediately, and you can control when you want your money transferred to your accounts.
There are less transfers happening in the payment process, so you end up with significantly fewer costs.
With less processes taking place, we immediately reduce the chance of mistakes happening.
You can choose your preferred currency. Currently we offer the options of Euros, British Pounds, Dollars and Japanese Yen, but over time we will add more options. This will again help you save money on exchange rates.
It is easier to track who paid you and when, making it easier to stay on top of your accounting.
